Lawrence Augusta James (B-7-1)
JULY 11, 1930 - MARCH 11, 2010
Lawrence James is credited with being the first James Family historian/photographer. He came up with the alpha-numeric system of identifying what particular James Family branch we each came from. He had an extensive knowledge of our family history and spent a considerable amount of his own time and money, researching, collecting and capturing photographs of family members. In the late 1970s/early 1980s, he traveled from city-to-city, across the country taking pictures of family members and visiting key cities/areas, Lazarus and Luvenia, lived in over the course of their lives. Below are pictures of those areas.
